Status of MY WaPo Blogger Summit pen: Lost.
I hope the paper is planning to pay KOB big bucks for taking his idea to WaPo.com. DCBlogs has been a trailblazingly great place to find like-minded narcissists and good local writing. I'm excited to see what placing this same idea on a major newspaper site will do for our traffic. All of a sudden I feel really lucky to be a blogger in DC with all you geeks.
Look at all of ya talking about this Summit!

If you want my pen from the summit I am willing to negotiate some sort of trade.
hmmm i-66, what could we trade? I have some pretzels here...
Perhaps KOB is looking for an excuse to quit.
KOB works with such dedication on his two blogs: DC Blogs and DC Blogs Live, spending his own money on these sites, and he's constantly at it, trying to keep D.C. Bloggers united and up-to-date with each other's work.
Cube - Yes, he is. All hail KOB. I wouldn't know about you or a bunch of other local bloggers if it weren't for his 2 blogs.
Phil - I'm not sure wapo consulted with KOB. (?) I think there's certainly room for DCBlogs to continue its amazing work no matter what other people/corporations do. He's got the art, the eye for content, and the whole DC Blogosphere in his hands.
Yes I agree with both of you. I would think KOB has entrenched himself as the leader, and any effort by wapo to unseat him would be denied, unless he is tired of doing all that work at his expense.
I found my pen I-66. No these pretzels are making me thirsty for you!
Holy Wonkette hits Batman!
